We do all the heavy lifting, but there are a few bits we will need from you to get the ball rolling. To get the most out of the print design process it’s best if you can have the following available before the brief:
Poor-quality print can ruin even the best of brochures. With so many printers and print processes available, it can be difficult to know where to start.
Our full print consultancy service makes everything easy. We’ll handle the whole print process, from choosing the right suppliers and obtaining quotes to supplying the artwork directly and advising on the best type of paper to use.
With established trusted contacts within the industry, we can source a suitable printer for your project at a price that meets your budget. So you can be sure that your printed brochure reflects the quality of your products or services and sends the right message to your customers.
We’ll arrange a meeting with you to get a deeper insight into your business objectives, target audience and competitors to help us shape the strategy we design for you.
Our design team will put together their creative ideas to produce design concepts that meet your objectives, which we’ll present for you to review and provide feedback on.
Once the design layouts, colour schemes and font families have all been approved, we’ll plan and schedule in the artworking phase to layout and transform all of your content into a striking, new brochure.
We’ll provide you with a PDF proof for you to review your brochure in full and request any final changes. For large brochures, we have an online proofing system, allowing you to review and add your comments online.
After you have approved and signed off your brochure, we’ll handle the printing and finishing, giving you expert advice on what paper stock and finish will work best as well as mailing options, if required.
If you’ve decided that you need new printed marketing material designed, then the first step is to contact us. We’ll discuss with you exactly what you need from your marketing and provide you with a design proposal, detailing our ideas, approach, costs and timescales. If you have an existing brochure, catalogue or annual report that you would like us to review, you can upload your document in PDF format here.
We ask that you supply all content to us, including any photography, in a digital format, unless you wish for us to provide you with photography and/or copywriting services.
We ask for all supplied text to be sent to us in a Word document in the order you would like to see it featured. Any final revised text should be supplied to us before we start the artworking phase.
Images and photography should be supplied at 300dpi in JPEG, PSD or EPS formats. PNG files are usually used online and won’t be suitable for printing, however, we can help review your images to make sure they are suitable for print.
The length of the project lifecycle depends on a number of factors such as the size of the brochure, the number of pages it requires and any graphics or illustrations that need to be designed. As a rough guideline, we would typically allocate one week to produce the initial designs for a 24 page brochure. Once the design has been reviewed and signed off, we would allocate a further week to artwork the brochure.
