Movember – the month of the moustache!

It’s that time of year again where the annual month long moustache growing marathon is kicking off around the world, challenging men to grow moustaches to raise awareness for men’s health and of course, women can get involved too by fundraising for the men in their lives.

So how did it start? In 2003 a few friends in a pub just outside Melbourne, Australia came up with the idea to create a campaign to promote the growth of the moustache and have fun along the way and so Movember was born! They wanted to change the face of men’s health, one Mo at a time and that’s what the charity does, it’s committed to men living happier and longer lives. The great news is it now spans across the globe, with campaigns in over 20 countries.
