If you were challenged to give up the booze for 31 days, would you accept the challenge?! In a bid to sway you, we’ve listed a few of the key benefits of giving up alcohol for a short period:

The benefits listed above were recorded by people who signed up to Dry January last year and more than 80% of those people said they would drink less throughout the rest of the year as a result of this experience.

Dry January is not about never drinking again – it is an opportunity for people to look into their drinking patterns and to give their bodies a break from alcohol, especially after the festive period.

As we enter the New Year, some of us start to think about how to tackle that excess weight that’s mysteriously appeared since Christmas and begin looking into your fitness, so we wanted to give you a helping hand by designing an infographic that identifies how many calories are in each of your favourite alcoholic drinks and how many minutes exercise you will need to do in order to work it off.
